Evoke Brain Health Scan

(formerly called “eVox Brain Mapping”)

The Evoke Brain Health Scan is a non-invasive technology that measures and assesses brainwave activity, providing valuable insights into brain function and potential imbalances. The scan involves mapping brainwave patterns to identify areas of overactivity, underactivity, or irregularities. This information helps individuals and healthcare professionals gain a deeper understanding of brain health and guides the development of personalized treatment plans. Getting an Evoke qEEG (Quantitative Electroencephalogram) Brain Health Scan can offer several benefits in assessing and understanding brain health. The Evoke is beneficial for many reasons:

Objective Assessment:

The Evoke Brain Health Scan provides an objective assessment of brainwave patterns and activity. It measures electrical activity in different regions of the brain, offering valuable insights into how the brain is functioning and identifying any potential imbalances or irregularities.

Personalized Treatment Approach:

The scan results help healthcare professionals develop personalized treatment plans tailored to an individual's specific brainwave patterns and needs. It enables targeted interventions and therapies that can address the identified imbalances or dysregulations.

Understanding Brainwave Patterns:

The scan provides a detailed analysis of different brainwave frequencies, such as alpha, beta, theta, and delta waves. This information helps individuals and healthcare professionals understand how specific brainwave patterns relate to various cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functions.

Identifying Neural Imbalances:

The Evoke Brain Health Scan can detect neural imbalances or abnormalities that may be contributing to various conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. By identifying these imbalances, healthcare professionals can better understand the underlying neurophysiological factors and develop targeted treatment strategies.

Monitoring Treatment Progress:

The scan can be used as a tool to monitor the progress of interventions and therapies over time. It allows healthcare professionals to objectively measure changes in brainwave activity and adjust treatment plans accordingly, ensuring that interventions are effective and leading to desired outcomes.

Personal Insight and Empowerment:

The Evoke Brain Health Scan results offer individuals a deeper understanding of their own brain functioning. It can provide insight into why certain symptoms or challenges may be present, which can be empowering and aid in self-awareness and self-management.

Prevention and Optimization:

The scan is not only valuable for diagnosing and treating existing conditions but also for preventive purposes. It can detect early signs of potential issues or imbalances, allowing for proactive interventions and promoting overall brain health and well-being.

 ABOUT

Evoke Brain Health Scan

(formerly called “eVox Brain Mapping”)

Technology designed to decode your brain.

Finding the right diagnosis can be challenging. The same symptom can mean many different things. For example, a recent onset of forgetfulness could be related to a thyroid disorder, a vitamin deficiency, chronic stress, or the beginning of cognitive decline. The secret to understanding the root cause of your symptoms lies in the way your brain is functioning.

How the Evoke Brain Health Scan Works

The Evoke Brain Health Scan is a test that’s designed to help your doctor decode the way your brain works. The scan makes it possible for your healthcare practitioner to measure your brain’s flow of electrical energy and better understand what may be causing your symptoms.

It’s a more personalized intervention to get your health back on track.

The Evoke Brain Health Scan uses electroencephalography, commonly called EEG, and event-related potentials (ERPs), to evaluate how your brain functions. During the test, you will wear an EEG cap that is similar to a swim cap. You then complete a series of simple exercises on the computer while your brain activity is recorded.

The resulting Evoke report identifies research-backed brain biomarkers that may help your healthcare provider develop a more accurate and timely diagnosis.

Payment

A critical part of our assessment process is the collection and database comparison of your EEG (commonly called a qEEG). In our experience, North Dakota insurances are not currently covering this service; most likely since it is a new technology just now available in ND. Even though your qEEG will likely not be covered, there may be some aspects of your evaluation/treatment that can be appropriately billed and covered by your insurance. For example, your initial consultation and follow up appointment to go over your qEEG results will typically be a covered service and paid for by your carrier with medical necessity.

Our charge for the Evoke Scan is $475*. This covers the qEEG and the Evoke interpretation. Payment for the qEEG will always be required before the procedure can take place.
