  3. Exercise regularly: When you aim for at least 30 minutes of exercise per day your brain will benefit tremendously. It helps improve cognition, reduces the risk of dementia, and reduces stress and anxiety.

  4. Reduce stress: Manage your stress via meditation, yoga, or exercise to decrease the risk of impairing memory. 

  5. Learn something new: Engaging in activities that challenge your brain can help keep it sharp and improve cognitive function. 

  6. Stay social: Maintaining strong social connections has been linked to better brain health. Make an effort to stay in touch with friends and family and consider joining social groups to meet new people.
